Job Summary

Duties
- Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes to produce precision parts
- Read and interpret technical drawings and prints
- Perform machining tasks such as turning, facing, grooving, drilling, and threading
- Inspect finished parts using calipers, bore gauges, micrometers, and other precision instruments
- Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize machining processes
- Operating and monitoring the machines
- Troubleshooting issues with the machine programming and preventative maintenance to ensure continuous operation
- Values precision and enforces quality standards
Skills
- Strong lathe experience is required (multi-axis turning preferred)
- Proficient in Mastercam or similar CAD/CAM software
- Familiarity with grinding and other secondary operations a plus
- 3-5 axis machining knowledge is a strong advantage
- Solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working with tight tolerances and critical dimensions
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
Qualifications/Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 3+ years CNC Programming and lathe experience
- Machining certificate or similar experience or complementary qualifications
- Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills
- Basic math skills and the ability to interpret technical information
- Ability to lift/push/pull at least 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
Compensation: $25.00 – $40.00 per hour
Schedule: Weekend Friday – Sunday 3×12, 6am-6:30pm
