Job Summary
We are a fast-paced precision company looking for a CNC Lathe Machinist with Mastercam experience for the 2nd shift. Are you confident in your ability to take a job from blueprint to final part—programming, setting up, and running CNC lathes with precision? If so, we want to hear from you.

Duties

  • Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes to produce precision parts
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and prints
  • Perform machining tasks such as turning, facing, grooving, drilling, and threading
  • Inspect finished parts using calipers, bore gauges, micrometers, and other precision instruments
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize machining processes
  • Operating and monitoring the machines
  • Troubleshooting issues with the machine programming and preventative maintenance to ensure continuous operation
  • Values precision and enforces quality standards

Skills

  • Strong lathe experience is required (multi-axis turning preferred)
  • Proficient in Mastercam or similar CAD/CAM software
  • Familiarity with grinding and other secondary operations a plus
  • 3-5 axis machining knowledge is a strong advantage
  • Solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working with tight tolerances and critical dimensions
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality

Qualifications/Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 3+ years CNC Programming and lathe experience
  • Machining certificate or similar experience or complementary qualifications
  • Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills
  • Basic math skills and the ability to interpret technical information
  • Ability to lift/push/pull at least 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation

Compensation: $25.00 – $40.00 per hour
Schedule: Weekend Friday – Sunday 3×12, 6am-6:30pm
